About this Nominee

Samantha Roshannon Bender is the owner of Roshannon Financial, a boutique bookkeeping and financial consulting firm dedicated to helping small business owners increase profitability, minimize their tax burden, and maximize cash flow.

Born and raised in Schuylkill County, Samantha graduated from Minersville Area High School before attending the Fox School of Business at Temple University. She spent the first 10 years of her career in operations and financial management, helping lead multimillion-dollar enterprises.

While pursuing financial freedom in her own life, Samantha discovered a passion for personal finance, which eventually grew into a passion for helping business owners understand and strengthen their finances.

Raised by a single mother of three, Samantha grew up in public housing and experienced the loss of her mother at just 18 years old. Those early experiences shaped her resilience, strengthened her work ethic, and fueled her determination to create a different future for herself and her family. They also gave her a deep appreciation for financial security and the opportunities that can be created through hard work, perseverance, and belief in what is possible.

Her journey has been guided by a simple set of values: work hard, treat people well, and lead with integrity and good character. Samantha firmly believes that where you begin does not determine where you can go and that with a strong work ethic and belief in yourself, you can create the life you envision.

At the heart of Roshannon Financial are the small business owners Samantha has the privilege of serving. She is passionate about becoming a trusted financial partner to her clients, helping them gain clarity, make confident decisions, and build stronger, more profitable businesses. Their trust has allowed Samantha to grow her firm, create opportunities for her team, and make a greater impact within the community she calls home.

Samantha is also the co-founder of Brewing Success, a free community for local female entrepreneurs that meets monthly to support, empower, and cheer one another on through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. She also serves on the Board of Directors for PADCO, has previously served on the Board of Directors for Child Development Inc, and volunteers her services to support local non-profits such as Dustin's Adventureland and the Skook Road Trip Relief project.

Samantha is incredibly honored to have been selected as one of the top three nominees for the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. She would be truly grateful for your vote and continued support!
