About this Nominee

Tim Zimmerman is the President/owner of Zimmerman Machine, Inc. He started this company as a part-time side job before 2008 and then went full-time around the downturn in the economy in 2008. Zimmerman Machine became incorporated in 2016. Tim has always been a firm believer in supporting your community, and he does just that with his company, always offering to lend a hand to neighbors whenever needed and supporting local events such as the 4-H clubs at the Schuylkill County Fair and various local fundraisers throughout the year. Since the start of Zimmerman Machine, Tim was acting as its sole employee in a sole-proprietorship in a 3400 sq ft building. It has since grown into a completely new 12,000 sq ft buliding with 23 employees, new state-of-the-art CNC machines while offering competitive wages, 100% employer paid health insurance for employees, IRA plans, and a life-insurance policy, with multiple other fringe benefits throughout the year. A few of those include as traveling to Chicago with employees every other year for the International Machine Trade Show (IMTS), golf tournaments and picnics/parties.
